Chaotic Bliss

When we break,
our pieces mingle.

We lay on
the floor
amongst each other
and become
parts in each other's
puzzle.

Reassembly results
in a picture
--and like most
pictures,
we become subject
to other people’s
scrutiny.

(Best we stay broken,
our pieces
jumbled together
in chaotic bliss.)

I'm so excited you're back (too excited that I think my kidneys are gonna fail me any minute now *grin*).

Loved the third stanza the most, how it captures the personal debate (verging on debacle) everyone goes through: what I/we (i.e. the couple) want vis-a-vis what I/we do not want others to see.

Cheers. ^_^
